To messure and display temperature and other values
If you over an extended period of time want to logg different physical values like temperature, energy and others, to a USB stick. This product is for you.
The product "Loggbox" is a small i386 computer (cost about $98) behind a LCD screen. This is cabable to handle about 100 temperature sensors. The logging is done to a USB stick. The homepage for the PC is http://www.ewayco.com
The computer has a standard VESA-mounting and it is a simple matter to attach it to a wall mount.
The computer can operate without screen and all the data logged to the USB memory can easily be moved to another computer for analysis. The data is stored in an ordinary text-file for easy access.
The temperature values are during meassurment plotted to the LCD screen and this makes it very easy to follow events in real time.
This is a meassurment from an ordinary heatpump.
The thermal sensors (DS18B20) are mounted on a cord that can be extended to about 100m.
